Yin Yoga with Iara Lamat

Leave the noise of the day behind and join us for a Yin Yoga class—an opportunity to unwind, stretch deeply, and find peace in stillness.

Yin Yoga has a deeply therapeutic power. It gives us access to the body’s energetic channels, known as meridians in Chinese Medicine. Through this ancient approach to life and health, we gain a deeper understanding of what it means to live in balance. We move through deep stretches, which often release long-held tension stored in the tissues. We release, we observe, we listen. This practice guides us into deeper layers of the body—and of the unconscious. Because of its slow and intentional pace, Yin Yoga becomes a form of mindfulness practice. It’s like a moving meditation, helping us develop skills that support our everyday lives.

Yin Yoga Can Help You:

Restore a Healthy Balance

Yin yoga teaches us to listen to our bodies and harmonize the flow of energy. This process restores the natural balance between Yin and Yang, which positively impacts our physical and mental well-being.

Release and Rejuvenate the Body

Long-held poses allow for deep release of muscles and connective tissues, promoting recovery and renewal after prolonged stress or intense physical activity.

Experience a Deep Connection

Yin yoga brings us back to nature's rhythms and seasonal cycles, strengthening our connection with the world around us and helping us adapt to changes.

Embrace a Mindful Approach to Life

The practice of yin yoga supports mindfulness and presence, helping us stay calm and better manage stressful situations in daily life.
